Our Line of Nordic Skis

Skiing can be a fun and leisurely activity that the whole family can enjoy, and it’s also a great way to get in shape during the winter months.

For centuries, cross-country skiing has been a fun activity for skiers of all ages. This sport is very versatile, allowing you to choose from racing through the backcountry or going for a leisurely ski on a groomed trail. Below, you’ll find a list of the different styles we have available to choose from. If you can’t find the type you’re looking for, we’ll be happy to special order them for you.

Compact Touring

This type of traditional Nordic ski is the most recognizable and is a standard in the cross country skiing community. If you plan on mainly using only groomed trails, then this style of ski is a perfect choice.

Classic Touring

These skis are much longer than the compact models and will be sized based on your height.

Skating

These skate style skis look somewhat similar to inline skates, hence the name. This type of cross-country skiing is mainly done on hard packed snow and even frozen lakes. It’s also the type of go-to ski style that many people use for racing purposes.

Backcountry

These skis are designed for backcountry use on terrain that often requires you to make your own trail. These skis are sized much smaller than classic Nordic skis and have a beefier design. Some models feature metal edges, which will allow you to easily tackle even the most challenging terrain.

Sizing

Just like with bikes, choosing the right size of skis is crucial to your performance and safety. If you’re not sure what size of ski is right for you, our trained staff can expertly measure your height and feet in order to determine the best fit for you based on application type. Remember, just because you wear a certain size of ski for one brand doesn’t mean you’ll wear the same size of ski made by another. Fortunately, our team can help you find the perfect fit.
